New Staff designations in the USA Girbau subsidiary

Following a recent meeting of Continental Girbau Inc’s Board of Directors, Pere Girbau Bover, Chairman of the Board of Continental, has announced Leonard P. Kafer has been named Vice-Chairman and CEO of Continental Girbau Inc.


“Kafer, a 43 year industry veteran has served as Continental’s President since the company was incorporated in 1995 and has been instrumental in directing the company to it’s current successful position in our industry”, stated Pere.
“Kafer’s new role will be more strategic in nature to further position our company for our future success as opposed to managing the day to day aspects of the business”. Pere added, “although Kafer will continue to serve as the Chief Executive Officer”.

To further support the future strategy, Kafer has announced that Michael T. Floyd has been named president of Continental Girbau Inc.
“Mike was responsible for establishing Continental’s distribution along with additional marketing and sales responsibilities. His efforts have contributed greatly to Continental’s Success” said Kafer.
“As Continental’s new president, Mike will assume more of the business responsibilities of our company” Kafer added.
